Registering for classes

General Information

Registration occurs four times per year, for fall, winter, spring, and summer. In general, fall registration begins in late March/early April, winter registration begins in early October, spring registration begins in late October, and summer registration begins in early/mid February. Exact registration dates can be found by visiting the Class Schedules & Textbooks page. While students must register themselves, there are times classes reach capacity. Planning Classes

It's important to make a plan for classes you'd like to take. Learn more about planning your degree.

Preparing for Registration

The first step in the registration process is to clear any holds and to-dos you have on your account in CampS.

CampS Login - View Holds/Register

There are generally two common holds/to-dos that MBA students need to take care of before registering:

Payment Plan Agreement
This must be done for each term in which you plan to enroll. To read and electronically sign your agreement, go to: CampS >> click on Tasks tile
Update Contact Information
This is typically done for both fall and spring registration, but may be required for other terms. Click here to learn how to complete this to-do item.

Searching for Classes & Completing Registration

You can search for classes in the registration system by visiting CampS >> Manage Classes tile >> Class Search and EnrollMBA courses will be listed under "Masters Business Admin." You will likely want to search for OPEN sections (that is the default) to determine what you can register for, but you can also search ALL sections by unchecking “Show Open Classes Only." You can select classes right from the search, and add them to your shopping cart in order to register. Read detailed instructions to plan your schedule and enroll in classes

Note about special course fee/class fee
When registering for classes, you may see a "special course fee" or "class fee" in CampS. Admitted MBA and special students pay a flat fee for courses, so this "special course fee" or "class fee" can be ignored if you are part of these groups.
